I’m in my grandparent’s backyard, when i have to go into the forest with my family. We walk for a while until we found a man with a garbage truck. We asked him what the smell was, and he said “my flies”. He asked if he could come with us. We said yes. We got to a flat castle with 3 windows and goblins with shotguns were in the windows. One of them shoots me, and my mom says “shooting people isn’t nice”. I was 4 years old.
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, fears, and experiences. Let's break down the elements in your dream:
Grandparents' Backyard: This setting might symbolize a place of comfort, safety, or nostalgia. It can represent childhood memories or a sense of connection to your family’s past.
Forest with Family: Walking into a forest can symbolize entering the unknown or exploring deeper aspects of yourself or your life. Being with family suggests you feel supported as you navigate these unknowns.
The Man with the Garbage Truck: This figure could represent a source of confusion or something that seems unpleasant (the garbage) in your life that you are trying to understand. His odd reply about "flies" might indicate that there are issues or problems that you feel are being ignored or not addressed.
Flat Castle with Goblins: Castles often symbolize protection or a place of authority, while goblins can represent fears or negative aspects of your psyche. The presence of shotguns may indicate that you feel threatened by these fears or challenges.
Being Shot and Mom's Response: The shooting could symbolize feeling attacked or hurt in some way, while your mother’s comment brings a moral lesson into the mix. This might reflect a formative experience or lesson about kindness and empathy that you learned early on.
Being 4 Years Old: The age may connect to a time when you were particularly impressionable. It signifies a point where childhood experiences shape your worldview.
Overall, this dream could signify a journey of self-discovery, the confrontation of fears or anxieties, and the importance of family support. Moreover, it may highlight the need to navigate your feelings about aggression or conflict in a more empathetic way as you grow. Reflecting on how these themes resonate with your life circumstances may provide further insights.
